Botching aside....

There is VERY LITTLE that the right arm—by itself—can do to speed up the UPPER LEVER.

You have a problem with that, or no?


Brian .... which "UPPER LEVER" are you talking about? I hope you are not reverting back to TGM and thinking of the arms as 'levers' only.

If you are referring to the lead left arm ... it starts as a 'cantilever' from the top of the swing and then it dissolves into a simple 'radius' as the clubhead approaches Impact. If you are referring to the rear right arm, then I don't understand your reference to an 'upper lever'. Please clarify.

Vijay seems to be higher MPH's with the left than the right:

Brian posts replies in post 56 (on page 6) and 62 and 72.

Did you want some answer in particular? Admittedly, what we got wasn't the meatiest of answers, given the speculation of the causes of this phenomenon.
