"The inside moves the outside" This is wrong?

I love the book but he really fluffed it off when i asked him some stuff about it. I cant state enough he is a great guy but we were looking for teachers who have admitted stuff was wrong. Like I said, he never went into detail about exactly what was wrong. Im sure i could go through it and find some stuff but i think the basic premise is still good.

I agree. I'm a big fan of Hebron's work. He's helped me become a better teacher. I got to spend some time with him years ago. He had a ton of dedication to the betterment of the game.

Jay, sorry to hear about your investment not going so well. I can see the alure they present to most golfers.

1. Get OUTSIDE. That's where the game is played.
2. Hit balls off of turf, or better yet, a fairway bunker. That will sort out your low point and teach you a few things about impact. The only thing that matters.
3. Don't get enamored with 24 degree this and 13 degree that...who give's a rats.
4. What I like about trackman, they aren't measuring your hips and tilts, they are measuring the club. Furyk makes Trackman sing, but I'd bet the boys at GolfTec might want to adjust a 22 herr and a 13 there...

thanks - yes I need to take a lesson on Track Man

Jim, why try and win over this guy?

not really trying to win him over; what i am trying to do is restore a little faith. He may believe no one can help his game and that MAY be true, but i bet i could at least give him some info that he didn't know and/or didn't quite understand that he could use to benefit his own game HIMSELF.

just wanted to let him know that he isn't doomed and he can learn SOMETHING.

I know i can learn something and i don't feel doomed about golf. It's only a game and in the bigger picture not that important to me. More about having a good time then a hard time, but then again i'm just a little insane and suffer from lack of proper medication.:D

I did enjoy my talk with Brian today even if he did do most of the talking.:) He told me some interesting things, but i stood up for you. After all a free dinner is worth it.:D

Firing a customer. That's a tough one as customers for a Golf Pro are revenue generators with no additional overhead. I presume you need every billable hour.

I can remember only one industrial customer that I ever overtly, in their face, fired. They were such a pain in the ass every day that I finally had enough. Called a meeting, and told them we no longer wanted to be their supplier. We would give them a month to find another vendor, and then we were done. In my industry, the more normal method is simply to price your way out of an account by raising prices way above the market.
