Dudes like Petrino illustrate what is wrong with big time college sports. Petrino, Kiffin, etc. should be professional coaches...but I forgot, they couldn't produce at that level.

As much as it pains me (a die-hard gators fan) to say this. And knowing that God-knows-what could be revealed at a later date. I will say that Bobby Bowden is one of my all time favorite football coaches and it has nothing to do with wins and losses or X's and O's. He was always the type of coach I wanted to play for in terms of his personality, demeanor and sense of humor. Don't know a single former player who would speak ill of him, ever. He comes across to me as a genuinely nice person and a good man. Same ol' calm cool Bobby in every interview he has ever given too, no flying off the handle at being favored or ranked number one like a certain goober we know....
He will be missed, for sure. UF-FSU has not been the same without him and Spurrier trading jabs...

Aint that the truth. To one extent or another, they all have a "behind the curtain" aspect they hope stays there. The only coach that we know for sure who is all squared away and good people is this guy...

I can proudly say that I was never on board with Billy Clyde's hire, he had ZERO pedigree for a job like that. It just shows you how desperate they were to get rid of Tubby.Now if we want to talk about sainthood...
