Shrinking Golfers

I plan on making some Austin trips for Longhorn football. I will still go to most of the Gator home games in Gainesville which is like Austin a top college town. Go Gators #1

Ahhh yes THE SWAMP...I've been there many a time when I was a wee little one. I experienced nothing but heartache though...it was over a girl named Sally and the Gators destroying my Bayou Bengals back in the day. We shall see this year though;) Geaux Tigers.

I ordered the commercial x-iser....

off ebay. There is a guy there that is a distributor. He does shows and orders about 30 commercial x-isers for these shows. He demos the product for a show and then sells off the unit. They come with full factory warranty delivered for $345.00

I called Xiser about these units and this person and they confirmed everything was cool with him and my purchase. They also said they really give a lifetime warranty on the product. If it ever fails, they will stand behind it.

Can't wait to start using it. I used to have a Nordic Track and used it in a similar manner to the xsier. Never had a weight problem with that thing.

John, are the provided exercises sufficient?????

South Beach Works... It's Just Slower and Not Hungary Free...

Understood Billy. I just worry about the effects of the Atkins...tried it in college. I lost lots of weight, but felt awful through the whole ordeal...not for me. I like South Beach much better. As for running and fitting in that band uniform, I have no use for either..I'm too cool to stress the joints that way and too cool for THAT kind of uniform.:) Bike sounds good though, although I still like my Crossfit workouts. Still searching.

Bronco Bill,

Thanks for posting the new picture of the Bella ATT. I have changed my mind and wanted to go with a two wheel Recumbent instead of a trike and this looks like the one. I even like the color. Here is the link to their site in any one is interested. Bacchetta Giro 20 Recumbent Bicycle Specs

Thanks Again,

John

England, small roads, few tracks. Recumbent bike, low down = squashed by a truck. Any more health tips?

Oh that's just a myth!! The REALLY long hitters spend most of their time either on a X-iser or a recumbent with training wheels (for safety). Trust me, I saw JB Holmes the other day sweatin' to the oldies on a X-iser last week for a GOOD 5-7 minutes. Trust me, that's one hell of a workout. After a good burn, he got out of his hot pink butt huggers and into some tricycle shorts and got a good 2.5 miles in before he smashed balls at the range. AMAZING workout, that's all I can say, AMAZING.

I meant professionals who compete at long driving competitions, Zuback for instance, most lift weights, you lift weights you get stronger and faster

I guess sarcasm IS hard to figure out over email. Not 1 word I wrote was serious. Sorry if you took offense. I'm totally for lifting the right way. (you would never catch me on an X-iser in butt huggers)

I agree with you that it should be less money but I have had mine for 10 years and it still works like new. I have trained over 200 golfers with it and hope to train many more. If you have knee or back problems it is one of the best ways to stay fit. I also have a mountain bike I ride 2-3 times a week for 20 to 30 miles on the paved trails we have here in central Florida. I have just moved to Ft Worth, TX and will miss biking on the trails and sprinting on the beaches in sunny Florida. I am sure I will find trails here in Ft. Worth, TX the land of Ben Hogan.

Did you use the exercises that come on the dvd (some look very good for the golf swing) or did you come up with some of your own? Could you share the ones you came up with if you did?
