Tumble, no Tug drill

Two things about this video that I like.

One, he knows how to incorporate full swing changes into his short game practice...and the dude knows how to have fun.

I wish I liked to practice that much...

Also, Ive been practicing with a rope on the ground behind me while kneeling. In order to hit something really hard that's in front of me, I have to have a tangential force to a point and then really yank the grip end back toward me to make the tip snap forward. Helps my little brain continually understand the feel. If I went directly toward to object I'm trying to hit, the rope does nothing good....it just "jack knifes"

I would like to see, post it up Kev.

I think it's a good thing to have to think about what Kevin's describing as the drill rather than him just posting a video and us trying to mimic it. It makes you think a bit about what he's describing and trying to achieve.

I do want to see him perform it, but having to mull over it a bit will probably give me a better understanding in the long run.

Thanks Kevin.

I'm glad there is some growing appreciation for Noren. I found him on youtube more than a year ago and was glad to see his 2 victories this year. The 3rd round at the Nordea Masters was tremendous. Setting course records three days in a row must be pretty unique. I like his blog too.

This is not a very popular way of thinking nowadays:)

KS, The main thing to realize is that you must upload the video somewhere. Youtube is handy. Just make an account. Then after uploading, provide the link to the video or use that filmstrip thing to post the link.

While my above video has a slight bit of TGM jargon in it (in my effort to de-jargonize it), swinging that rope will also give the feel of 'no tug' and 'going normal'. Try swinging a broom too for a similar effect.
