I had heard Wayne Player was one of them last week.

I took a very sarcastic view of this so called "competition" and looking at who they picked I think I was justified.

What a bunch of jerkoffs....

Why let everybody waste their time making videos when you're hiring two former employees and GP's son?

Just hire them.

I thought that I couldn't be less impressed with TGC but I was wrong.

Palacios was more eye candy than instruction back in the Peter Kessler days. Let's see what she's got now. Maybe she'll bust out a blue plane board on us. :D

Karen's video appears to have been submitted (at least posted on Youtube) :

If there were a sexist cynic within me it would probably say that she makes excellent points at 3:44, 3:46, 3:48 etc...3:50, 3:52, 3:54...

But as a fair minded bloke I wouldn't concentrate only on that... I think she gives a thorough presentation but maybe not novel in her ideas or exercises...

Martin Hall is into trackman and teaching - at least that is a bonus even if he did not seem to submit a video for public viewing...

And Wayne Player must have a wealth of anecdotes to pass on...

Actually Wayne is not that different from Brian in style and content...at least in terms of high energy and relationship between golf and other athletic motions...not sure Wayne will be so good on the science stuff though!

Some kind of email flashmob to the golf channel HQ re. d plane and ball flight might make them realise there is more to instruction than white teeth and belts...

Karen says: "... long, lean muscles work best for golf ..." and the lady knows what she is talking about.

She is obviously thinking of golfers with my svelte physique ... 6'3" - 175 lbs. .... soooo obvious.

What is also obvious is that our BManz didn't have a hope competing against mini-skirted babe like Karen ... and he decided on his own that he needed to lose some weight to look a bit more svelte on tv ... smart man that Brian ..:D

The fact that the folks that won are "named" people in commercial golfdom, sucks ass. No disrespect to Martin Hall, as I think he's awesome, but come on... didn't see Wayne Player's but Karen's? Nice legs.

You and Karen need to re-think the loong, lean muscle theory. Your just not as smart as you think and were not as dumb as you are, it's soooo obvious....lol. Your starting to show cracks in that " i'm perfect and i know it all image".

The Muscles You Inherit

As well as a person’s genetic endowment of muscle-fiber type, heredity also determines muscle shape. And some people may have more muscle fiber in specific muscles than others, allowing them to build bigger muscles. Other people may have different lengths or thicknesses of muscle tendons, or where their tendons attach to bones.

For example, calves can be skinny, thick or bulky. The main calf muscle—the gastrocnemius—attaches to the heel with the Achilles tendon. Some people have a tendon that extends farther up the leg, allowing for a thinner ankle and higher-placed calf muscle. But if the tendon is shorter, the lower leg may look thicker because there is more muscle lower down the leg. The leg may look bigger all over because the muscle is spread out, but less bulky in the calf. The underlying soleus muscle can also affect the overall look of the calf.

Short of chopping away surgically at muscles, there’s not much you can do to change a person’s natural muscle shape. Some anorexics or severely underweight people who manage to lose so much weight that they lose lots of muscle tissue may be able to lean down and appear to change their shape. Of course, this is also very dangerous and not recommended!

I watched 6 seconds of her video and I wouldve voted for her

and the outfit in the "quick tip clip" probably doesn't get those points across quite as well. She's a smart cookie.

Yep - she provides a "Basic Instinct" leg crossing moment with each leg elevation, gives a cardio workout even in guys who are only watching what she does rather than doing what she says...

Don't wish any of them ill - they are all really good at their thing... Wayne has family history, anecdotes and energy...Karen is athletic and has a good history in teaching...Martin is very nice guy with a great golfing education (TGM plus trackman background) and is English - always a good thing ;) I would not be surprised if all 3 of them get some slots in the future.

Only sour note is with TGC - they hinted at an unknown getting a break... they find 3 well knowns.... well done ;)
