When will her star start to fade??? I've tried to be a fan of Wie, but she hasn't lived up to the hype.

She needs to win. Golf is the only "sport" (lol at that label) where success can be determined by not winning.... I'm tired of her getting a free ride to the big show, she hasn't earned anything...
No Masters, No Ryder Cup and definitely there is no chance in hell that she will ever be a member of the PGA tour.
If you can't beat the 230yd driving ball polishers on the LPGA how the hell are you going to play with Tiger and Vijay...
Ricky1990 said:Yeah, what the hell are you expecting from her? When ever I see her playing on LPGA she always seems to be up there contending on sunday afternoon! ALL THE TIME!
And then she doesent play a golf tournament for like 4 weeks but when she does they expect her to make the cut in the european omega masters (MENS EUROPEAN TOUR), on a course she hasent played before!
rundmc said:Charming. She has tried to EARN her way into the U.S. Open and the Masters via the Mid Am. I reckon if Hef invited YOU to the Playboy Crizzo you'd pass because you hadn't "EARNED" it.
You got a little girl living a dream and your pissin' in her orange juice. Tiger joined the Tour when he was what 20 or 21? Let's see where she's at then . . .
Bet she wins two Majors next year . . . she'll still suck though.
self-mastery said:Yeah but is an LPGA major really a major???
OT- Does anyone really consider the PGA to be a real major??? I guess the people that win it do......
Maybe to some people . . . certainly not to her . . . and to some maybe they just enjoy seeing a young girl with God given talent persuing her dream.self-mastery said:No one expects her to make the cut... She's there to draw a crowd. She has officially become a "bar girl" like in all of those skanky bars I visited when I was in SE Asia... She's there to get the party started. WOOT!?
If she makes a cut that is a bonus...
It's silly that golf needs a 16 year old girl to draw a crowd when the big 2 aren't playing...

Newton and Mozart and Shakespeare and Michaelangelo are a few of the great human masterpieces. On a smaller level we have musical talent of teenagers the level of some of the world's greatest musicians. On a lesser level than that but still towering over us mortals, we have Annika, Michelle, and Daly in golf, Sagan and others in astronomy and physics, AND THEN WE HAVE ORDINARY DAMN GOOD GRAMMAR SCHOOL TEACHERS who love their charges and teach well. Finally in the pecking order is the quiet janitor lady who comes into the offices at night and leaves the place spotless and ready for the morning crew. ALL ARE THE GLORY OF GOD in various manifestations.
Pick your pudding.

What the hell do you call it then?
A hobby? That don't sound right.
I guess just golf eh.

If some of those football players did not play football, what else would they be doing, playing soccer where you run up and down the field for 90 minutes
