Tiger Woods Progress with Sean Foley

Since gambling is illegal at Bushwood, how about some form of physical feat--100 pushups, 100 pullups (not consecutive but for time) run a mile under 8 min, eat 50 eggs (see Cool Hand Luke?)...all on video we'll post here (in high speed)..it could be appropriate since Tiger's a fitness nut.
I'm 44, btw.
OR I've got a paypal acct...but we gotta wait a whole year.

Okay, 100 push ups sounds good. I'm not sure how long that'd take me (30 yrs old, average shape golf pro), but it sounds penalizing enough to be entertaining. Good thought, let's touch base in 11 months...or after Tiger wins the first 3 majors of the year...

:)

Main difference between SF and S&T has more to do with release of golf club energy throught the impact zone. S&T tends to retain Right Flying Wedge throught impact into the trademark sawed off finish. SF advocates allowing the club to basically release in the direction determined by downswing action. Less maintaining of Flying Wedge and more CF roll in many of the players and more stacked on left side finishes.YouTube - sean ohair caddy

Centres more over left foot and less reverse C.

:)

I'll let you out with 60 after he wins the Masters...otherwise, the 100 push ups must be done within 4 minutes..and strict! I got about 40 in me right now...
Maybe we can get everyone on here to take a side and man up.
IN FACT: I am of the opinion that we can know all there is to know about hitting a ball, but if you got pudding instead of muscles, you might as well stick with playstation golf.

Admittedly, I don't know a lot about S&T. But, I was always under the impression that it advocated tilting your spine toward the target on the BS (correct if I'm wrong). With all this talk about Foley being very S&Tish, I still see Tiger with his spine tilted slightly AWAY from the target at the top. Also, he keeps his head well behind the ball through impact, which I thought was supposed to be moving forward, ahead of the ball, in Foley's model.

So, while Foley may be preaching a very S&Tish move, Tiger seems to be doing something a little different to me. Sure, he hangs more left on the BS, and has a steeper shoulder turn, and a more in hand path (compared to Haney). But, this doesn't look like the S&T commercials that I've seen a million times on the Golf Channel.

Sean Foley interview and short help videos posted on pgatour.com if interested. Some good information and also he is very aware of new ball flight laws as Brian has said. Sean Foley will buy a copy of Project 168, bet on it.

dont think it takes a genuis to figure out that tiger will be back to winning ways next yr. and it will be nothing to do with sean foley, tiger is now a single man again his mind is free of all the clutter that hung over him when he was married. he knew it was only a matter of time before the shit hit the fan. all the media scruntiny is now off his back , he is now back to being a single man he can jump into bed with any woman he desires and it is all guilt free no more wondering when he is going to be outed for playing away from home . we all know that it is impossible to play good golf when you have other more important stuff on your mind. and the last thing on tigers mind the last few yrs was golf. he was completely stressed, some of the lunges he took at the ball with the driver where a testament to that, i dont think hank haney would have been teaching him to swing the club like that. now that tiger is back to having his freedom he can do all the things he loves to do off the course and do it without the guilt factor. and when he is practicing or playing the game he loves his mind will only be on the next shot.

@gailfcno => that's what I call a wife unfriendly post :D

I guess we can concede Sean at least some credit if Tiger dramatically increases his total driving stats for 2011.

S&Ters usually have their spine roughly vertical, targetward tilt is mainly a feeling. As for head, they aren't supposed to move it forward but to keep it steady. Weight distribution is the main point of coincidence between them and Foley, and I think the difference is that Foley prefers a trail leg more flexed on backswing.

haha yeah sounds pretty damning for the golf wifes:D. yeah your right wilson, if foley dramatically improves his driving driving stats, we can then give him what will be due credit.

Tiger's most amazing stat is how he kept all his ladies secret and away from each other all those months/years. Imagine juggling a half a dozen woman while married?

Re-thought the 4 minute deal...8 will be more reasonable for 2 golf pros. :)
