    Rotation vs. counter-rotation

Brian - how would twistaway affect tendency to cross the line at the top of the backswing? You have previously given the advice to rotate the whole left forearm to correct that fault, but twistaway is now being considered almost the same as counter-rotation. Would appreciate your input.

    Finish Swivel question

Brian - do you always recommend a Wedding Ring up finish, or is a more traditional palm up "catch the raindrops" type finish acceptable for someone who is not a slicer?

    Backswing plane issues

Lately I've been having problems with backswing coming under the plane. Takeaway is fine but club begins to come under and in at hip height. Pro suggested steeper shoulder turn to correct this, but that sure doesn't feel right. Would appreciate your thoughts.

    Ernie Els comments

In the most recent issue of Golf for Women mag(yes I read that too!), Ernie Els was quoted as saying that the left arm, club and shoulder control the takeaway, and that the right arm should be passive. Guess he doesn't believe in right forearm pickup. Curious as to your thoughts on this.

    Putting

How do you feel about looking at the hole instead of the ball while putting? Proposed as a drill on + off over the years, most recently by Brady Riggs in Golf Tips mag. Great results in practice. Have any of you tried it on the course?

    Basckswing option

I've recently tried a backswing drill promoted by Mike Adams. From address just lift club to horizontal, do a baseball backswing, then a normal downswing. Works great and I'm curious if Brian and the other gurus think this could be a valid backswing option rather than just a drill. After a...

    twistaway move

I have a 2 part question regarding Brian's twistaway move. Is this just the same as bending back right wrist along the plane of the right forearm ala Yoda? Is there an ideal timing for this move?

    Left thumb

My right forearm pickup isn't always "magic" and sometimes I take club up on plane best by focusing on my left thumb. Is that even reasonable or too bizarre to continue?

    Crossing the line

I have a problem with club crossing the line at top of backswing with my weight moving towards the toes. This of course never happens my practice swings which are much shorter. Left wrist is slightly cupped at the top contributing to the problem, but my right wrist physically can't bend back...
