I agree man......go somewhere, take the test, move on....save your time and patience for learing something you don't know already. Makes sense to me.

EC and Birdie,

Thanx for the kind words...BUT this thread is about the TGM Summitt...It sounds interesting to me...really interesting...I would love to attend ...but we have finals at the University...No chance....I would love to hear Doyle, Manzella, etc...I can always learn something TGM...that's why I love these forums....It's a shame that guys like myself...there are others..have taken tests....paid $....and are "nothing in the eyes of the new ownership"...I've given enough $ to TGM..I will not give more $ ..Just because the new ownership does not know everyone who uses TGM outside of the AI list doesn't mean they're not out there using it to support and promote the TGM cause ... Thank the good Lord for guys like Manzella and Blake that keeps the fire burnin' ...because I'm very UNIMPRESSED with the Lack of Interest of the new TGM...What the hell happened to the TGM website and it's forum...IT COULDN"T HANG WITH THIS SITE OR LBG...WHAT"S THAT INDICATE!!!!!EXACTLY..... PEOPLE KNOW.... WHO REALLY KNOWS!!!!

I moved some of this conversation to "TGM Affairs". Sorry if I planted a hi-jack.

Anytime Brian is asked to speak at a TGM affair, it can only be a GREAT thing. Knock 'em dead Brain. Enjoy the limelight and speak well of "us."

Brian, do you have digital recorder?

Would love to hear what you have to say (edited if need be) while you are there?

You could add this to your podcasts.

6bee, not sure if I can answer your questions, because of teaching commitments I only had time to complete level 1, which I passed, but you cannot be an AI until completing level 2, I am going back in February to take level 2, as a teaching pro to have the credential of AI will only be of benefit to me, I dont know how authorisation used to be done so I am not in a position to answer.

Is the book that you guy are reading, who is owning the book.... does it matter? I presume, you all got a copy?

Some people here do have a vested interest in the future of The Golfing Machine. Some are AIs that pay dues to the organization, some have a passion, while some a passion for it and want more. You will never met a better group of people than the ones around The Golfing Machine.

Some only want to learn and play better golf which is the true bottom line of this and no one can argue that goal.

Whatever you want you can find it here, just respect the ones that want a little more in a little different way.

question: What makes you think you should have your screen name as Homer.Kelley??

"question: What makes you think you should have your screen name as Homer.Kelley??"

question: Why should he have to answer to you?

Question MJ: Are you saying I can't ask?

Direct me to the post that says you clear all questions.

"Are you saying I can't ask?"

What I said was, "Why does he have to answer to you?". Perhaps you're the forum screen name monitor, or perhaps any reference to "Homer Kelley" requires clearance from you.

Just think that when x no. of years is up after publication, the book will be public property anyways ..... I think Homer will be smiling this day, he wrote it for all - not for one man to possess.

So much for that 100 year plan ....lol

I asked a question of him, and you tell me I can't, but you can ask me a question. Seems unfair I can't do what you just did.

Since you always seem to butt in I will try get approval of any question or posts I have from now on. What is your email?

Steve Elkington is a TGM guy..but now he has ventured back to the Dark Side of the Force....MORAD... working with some of mac's closest disciples ...Mike Bennett and Andy Plummer...BTW Mac was a Homer disciple at one time and credits Homer for getting him through Tour School on the 17th time and teaching him TGM....

Mac also said TGM teaches hook mechanics tho, didn't he?

I heard someone say that b4...

Mac...never said that to me...Hook mechanics by TGM...He did say he's not a fan of horizontal hinging due to the fact angled hinging with multiple ball positions gives you more versatility for different trajectories and curvatures...which is at the CORE of his belief system...Whereas horizontal hinging tends toward a more boring and consistent trajectory throughout the bag...Less versatlity...Versatlity is essential for shot-making!!!

I remember that statement being attributed to Grant Waite.

i agree with nonatgm mac never said anything bad about the book to me. another note he has the book practically memorized he constantly quotes things page numbers paragraphs to help me correlate what he is teaching and gives homer credit for knowing certain things as well

That is what Grant Waite said...Mac didn't say that.
